Aslead Institute
Servant leaders committed to transforming Africa and the world through integrity, purpose, and impact.
Board Chair
Peter grew up as the second born in a peasant family of nine children in Kenya. Poverty delayed his education, yet he spent 25 years helping his father educate his siblings — learning servant leadership through action long before anyone taught him its name.
He came to the United States in 2007 for postgraduate studies in Leadership Development, completing his Doctoral program in 2015. Together with Mike Gaetke and Tory Walker, he co-founded ASLEAD — a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
In Kenya, Peter founded Transitional Leadership Development (TLD), organizing 18 leadership seminars across 12 counties. Over 2,850 religious, community, government, and political leaders have received servant leadership training under his vision.
