A meaningful and impactful engagement brought ASLEAD Institute back together with its Bisil graduates, as leaders gathered to reflect on how the principles of servant leadership are shaping their ministries and daily lives.
The session, held from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Faith Evangelical Free Church under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Daniel Osoi, was led by ASLEAD Institute’s Founder and Director, Rev Dr. Peter Mulinge. The purpose of the gathering was to reconnect with graduates of the program and assess how they have been applying what they learned during their training — and to reflect on the impact those lessons have had on their personal and ministry journeys.
Rev Dr. Peter Mulinge revisited key modules from the Servant Leadership Program, placing particular emphasis on the virtues of love and humility. He reminded attendees that Christ’s mission was deeply rooted in these values, and encouraged the graduates to embody them in both their daily lives and their leadership roles. As the body of Christ, he said, believers are called to support one another with compassion, embrace each other’s weaknesses, and foster unity rather than division.
He further urged the congregation to move away from judgment and criticism, pointing instead toward a posture of grace. A key reflection during the session focused on the second coming of Christ, described as a time of judgment when individuals will be held accountable for how they lived and led their lives — a call to action for leaders to practice love, integrity, and purpose in their ministries, and to recognize their role in guiding others toward Christ.
The meeting also welcomed partners from SMEP Bank, who shared valuable insights on financial empowerment and management, highlighting the importance of pairing sound financial practices with strong leadership values and a growth-oriented mindset.
In his closing remarks, Rev Dr. Peter Mulinge encouraged graduates to continue their leadership journey by enrolling in the Diploma in Servant Leadership at ASLEAD Institute, with the next intake opening in September 2026. He also invited new clergy present to begin their own journey through the Certificate Program, equipping themselves to lead in the example of Christ.
The session closed in prayer, led by Bishop Dr. Daniel Osoi, who reaffirmed the importance of continuous learning and encouraged all attendees to take advantage of the leadership programs offered. More than a moment of reflection, the gathering served as a renewed call to action — challenging leaders to live out servant leadership with authenticity, love, and unwavering commitment.
